For those who are new to the story, here is a glimpse into the nightmare:
- A World in Ruins: The story takes place in a dying world where the atmosphere has collapsed, and humanity is violently divided.
- The Price of Utopia: In the subterranean Northern Capital of Atlantya, the elite are kept permanently awake and hyper-productive by the miraculous EVA supplement. However, this drug is synthesized from the raw genetic material of the impoverished southern provinces. It is drained alive from citizens condemned for tax evasion.
- The Reluctant Rebel: Adam Knox is an Ambassador for the General Order of Defense, acting as a gear in this mechanized slaughterhouse. While his public duty is to ferry ruined lives to the Capital’s extraction pods, Adam is secretly arming a desperate resistance.
- A Race Against Time: He steals classified archival codes to unlock military bunkers for provincial rebels, hoping to spark an uprising against the empire his ruthless brother helps lead. When the Capital announces a new supplement upgrade that will render the provinces completely obsolete, the clock runs out.
