Rewriting the Cycle: Dreams Second Edition is Arriving

“Our world has shifted endlessly since its inception, surviving localized apocalypses, resource wars, and the slow, suffocating death of its own atmosphere. Yet, through every era of ash and ruin, one brutal, mechanical truth remains entirely undisturbed: those with power will always exploit those without it. It is the endless, suffocating cycle of humanity.”

Humanity has a habit of exhaling the same tired sigh over repurposed problems. As writers, we sometimes do the same with our old drafts, looking at the bones of a concept and knowing it has the potential to bite a little deeper, to burn a little brighter.

That is exactly what led to the creation of Dreams: Second Edition.

The original 2018 version laid down the foundation of the story, but it always felt like a developmental draft of a much larger, darker world. This updated edition completely strips away the clunkier exposition to reveal the true, visceral horror of the Capital, the relentless psychopathy of characters like Charles Knox, and the high-stakes reality of the extraction labs. It is a tighter, faster, and far more atmospheric thriller.

To make room for this definitive vision, the first edition is officially entering the vault and leaving the shelves.

The new version is currently wrapping up its final system reviews on Amazon and will be completely live within the next day or two across Kindle eBook ($3.99), trade paperback ($16.99), and premium hardcover ($22.99) formats.

Thank you to everyone who has read, commented, or supported my storytelling over the years. This launch marks a major milestone, and closing the chapter on this revision means all remaining creative energy is shifting directly onto the horizon for the next book, Once More Through the Horizon.

Keep your eyes on the shelves—the definitive cut drops soon. I will post on socials and create another blog post once the second edition is live.
