Welcome to Zennado

Find Stillness in Motion

Zennado is dedicated to the journey of meditation and mindfulness. Here, we explore the art of finding stillness in a chaotic world.

Meditation practices

Meditation is a powerful practice that fosters tranquility and self-awareness. At Zennado, we share various techniques to suit different lifestyles and preferences.

Blog posts will often feature different adaptations from various authors and philosophers. We will broaden our horizons through continual learning.

Community connection

Connecting with others is fundamental to our spiritual journey. Through shared experiences, we can learn and grow together on our paths.

Our focus is to remain connected through this community, so we will host our discussion topics in our built-in forums page.

Zen philosophy

Zen teaches us to be present in the moment and appreciate life’s simple joys. We aim to incorporate these teachings into our daily lives.

“There never is, or was, or will be anything except the present.” – Alan Watts

Story-based Act System

Zennado will use an act-based progression system to guide you through the practices of Zen and how they apply to our western way of life. Visit the page: Zennado Acts I – X to learn more about the act-based system and where you can get started with the content. Once the acts have been written, we will transition to a more ad-hoc based production, and live in the moment together.

I want to provide a natural, easy-to-follow and digestible path forward for new users. If you follow the acts as they naturally progress, you will have an easier time understanding our later discussions.

Our Discussions

The blog will feature various topics, such as meditation practices, Zen-philosophical discussions, and mindfulness teachings.

We will also discuss other items like slow living, maintaining a growth mindset, being a continuous learner, and how to let go of difficult moments.

There may be occasional posts that do not fit directly into our named-program, and would be classified as a ‘lifestyle posts’, such topics like cooking, hiking, or other interests that interact with our living world; because Zen and meditation don’t just happen inside of our heads. Zen-moments happen in the world around us, too.

Writing pieces in this blog will go through its own growth periods, because I am continuously learning as a writer and individual too. It is with this mindset that we will approach topics in this forum, because there’s always an opportunity to learn more and handle life-events differently.

My Commitment to You

This community will be member-driven. We will learn new ways to meditate and apply spiritual teachings to our lives, and we will find ways to be calm when there are storms we cannot control. I maintain the site to include the forums with the intention to spark conversation and engage with community members in discussion.

My Commitments:

  • Zennado.com will be free for all users
  • Zennado.com will remain ad-free
  • Zennado will provide a variety of content
  • The forums will remain on this website, providing an ad-free space for users to discuss our learning topics
  • There will be no paid-tiers or any other gated content on this website

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclaimer

I will use an AI assistant to help me generate images for this blog, as this is a solo and self-funded project, I do not have a budget to hire an artist to create featured images every week for each of my posts. If there ever would come a time where I am able to hire an artist then I will do so, but for now, I will use AI to generate the images.

AI is not used for any writing or word choices. I may use it to help with grammatical and spelling checks, and to ensure continuity, but I find no enjoyment allowing it to write for me, that would defeat the entire purpose of what I’m setting out to do here, which is to write.
